Cosmo runs on a combination of our own models for the parts that make it a partner (memory, voice, and learning your preferences) and external model APIs for commodity capabilities like reasoning, and web-search.
You and the systems that serve your requests. Nobody else. If you file a bug report and choose to attach any session data, our support team will look at what you shared in order to resolve your issues. Your data is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to build profiles for anyone but you. You can see our subprocessors here.
Your conversations, screens, and memory are never used to train models. We improve Cosmo from aggregate usage patterns — which features help, which don’t — never from what you said, showed, or wrote. We have zero data retention (ZDR) agreements with all our model providers.
No. Cosmo sees your screen and hears your voice only in sessions you start and control, and there’s a visible indicator whenever it’s live. There is no background recording.
The memory that Cosmo has inferred about you persists as long as you want a partner that knows you. All raw session data is discarded. For Cosmo sessions on macOS and iOS apps, we do not store any raw session data on our servers. Delete anything at any time and it’s removed from our systems within 7 days.
Yes. Request a full archive — conversations, memory, files — by emailing support@askcosmo.ai and we’ll send a machine-readable export.
Yes. Delete individual memories anytime, or purge your entire account by emailing support@askcosmo.ai. Deleted means removed from production immediately and from backups within 30 days.
